EAST ORANGE, NJ – Blackstone's sculptural mixed-use development in East Orange, NJ, Lotus 315, was fully let in record time.

The building, which represents Blackstone 360's fourth luxury project and first mixed-use project in the city, was rented from luxury housing company Striker Leasing.

Blackstone chose Striker Leasing to exclusively lease the property and its sister property Aura 240.

Striker Leasing began its efforts to lease the 180-unit property in September 2019, shortly after the leasing company started.

Under the direction of Brian Jaffe, Striker Leasing's apartment leasing division successfully let 70 luxury apartments within 100 days. The company was 95% busy while it was still under construction. The entire building was fully let within four months.

The team conducted guided on-site visits to potential tenants during the leasing process.

The building offers studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units with average rental prices of $ 2,200. The building's apartment has in-unit washers and dryers, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, quartz countertops, porcelain tiles, and private patios for select units.

The pet-friendly property also offers a 24-hour exercise facility, garden lounge and party room, 24-hour doorman and a free shuttle to Newark Penn Station.

Striking Leasing is currently preparing to open the property in September, along with the new 62-unit luxury apartment in Newark, New Jersey, The William.
