CARY, NC – Wood Partners, a national leader in multi-family home development, announced the groundbreaking of its newest luxury residential community – Alta Wren – in Cary, North Carolina. Construction work is underway and the opening of the parish is planned for summer 2021.
The new community is five minutes south of Research Triangle Park and provides residents with convenient living space with phenomenal access to employers, world-class public schools, and numerous recreational and entertainment options.
Research Triangle Park, the largest research park in the United States, is home to more than 250 companies and 50,000 technology and life science jobs. Major companies in the region include IBM, Credit Suisse, Cisco, Biogen and Lenovo.
"We hope this new community offers the highest quality of life in a location that is convenient for all that the Triangle region has to offer," said Caitlin Shelby, chief executive officer of Wood Partners. "The continued economic growth in this region will continue to attract residents to the area, while Alta Wren's spacious units and extensive amenities will set it apart from other existing communities."
The Alta Wren location provides quick access to local parks and outdoor recreation while being adjacent to several grocery stores, restaurants, and retail stores. In addition, the project is central to the Triangle area with Interstates 40 and 540 and nearby Davis Drive, giving residents quick access to Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.
Raleigh-Durham International Airport is approximately eight miles northeast of the parish, making it an ideal home for both business and leisure travelers.
When completed, Alta Wren will include 250 units with state-of-the-art amenities, including two courtyards with a resort-style pool, common work area for residents, fitness center with flexible space, playground, demonstration kitchen and games, and ample space for residents to enjoy work from home.
All apartment buildings have premium finishes including stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, wood-style plank floors, splashbacks, balconies and spacious interiors.
