Clifford Brechner, Vice President of Colliers International
PHILADELPHIA – Clifford Brechner, a director who has led life science companies for the past two decades, has joined Colliers International's Philadelphia Life Sciences division as vice president.
Brechner joins Colliers and has more than 35 years of experience running companies with revenues in excess of $ 10 million. For the past 20 years he has led companies in the analytical laboratory and quality assurance industries.
With this in mind, Colliers believes he is well placed to help laboratory clients cope with their complicated real estate needs in an ever-changing marketplace.

As the founder and CEO of Insight Laboratories, a consumer product safety testing laboratory, he built and managed computer facilities in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Canada and California, New York, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. With the rapid growth and approval of ISO17025 and the Consumer Product Safety Commission, Insight was acquired by a strategic partner.
He was also co-founder and CEO of Actus Analytical and led the development, marketing and sales of tools for consumer safety compliance verification. Under his leadership, Actus Analytical received a research grant from the US Department of Homeland Security and the CPSC, and worked with Agilent Technologies to develop a handheld analyzer for screening material IDs.
