NEW YORK CITY – The CIM Group has completed construction of its 21-story mixed-use Front & York project in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The luxury full-service residential and retail project at 85 Jay Street is 3.1 acres of land and spans an entire block of town with a street frontage of more than 1,500 meters.
Upon completion, Front & York will have 150,000 square meters of retail space, 408 condominiums and 320 rental apartments.
Residential facilities of the development include access to one of the largest landscaped private parks in Brooklyn designed by Michael Van Valkenburgh, a 77,000 square meter Life Time sports and wellness center, a wine lounge, a kitchen and a private dining room, and a communal lounge, Rooms for toddlers and teenagers, parking, bicycle storage, and a large rooftop pool, cabanas, outdoor fireplaces, dining area, grills, and heated outdoor theater.
The project is accessible via numerous transport options and offers residences with floor plans from one to four bedrooms.
The CIM Group is developing the project together with the Brooklyn-based company LIVWRK. Through the development, the two companies aim to offer the DUMBO neighborhood new homes, community-based retail, and better connectivity for pedestrians through wide sidewalks and outdoor seating areas.
