LAS VEGAS, NV – Wood Partners, a national leader in multi-family home development, announced the groundbreaking ceremony for its newest luxury residential community – Alta Southern Highlands – in Las Vegas, Nevada. Construction is underway and the opening of the parish is scheduled for autumn 2021.
The new community is 10 minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip and offers easy access to I-15 as well as a wide variety of job, entertainment and recreational activities. There are more than 97,000 jobs in the region, and the newly announced hubs from Amazon and Google are under development. Other major employers in the area include Levi's, Humana, Prologis, CenturyLink, and Universal Health Services. In addition, McCarran International Airport is less than 15 minutes' drive away.
The new headquarters and practice facility for the recently relocated Las Vegas Raiders is right across Interstate 15, and the location is just a few miles from the team's Allegiant Stadium, so residents have a new home team in their own backyard. According to Golf Digest, the nearby Southern Highlands Golf Course is the third-ranked golf course in the state of Nevada.
"Wood Partners is excited about the amenities, features and lifestyle that the Alta Southern Highlands community will offer," said Kevin Curley, development associate at Wood Partners. "The Southern Highlands Community was named Best of Las Vegas Best Master Planned Community for the second year in a row in 2018, making it an ideal location for young professionals and families."
When completed, the Alta Southern Highlands will have 228 units consisting of one, two and three bedroom apartments. The equipment features include first-class kitchen surfaces and technology packages.
The resort-style community also offers very comfortable living with an oversized fitness center, expansive pool area and a double-height clubhouse area so residents can enjoy life both inside and outside of their apartment buildings.
