GILBERT, AZ – McShane Construction Company has commenced construction of Springs at Cooley Station in Gilbert, Arizona. McShane is currently underway with two other projects for Continental in the Phoenix region and is helping Continental respond to the increase in population growth in the Greater Phoenix region.
"We're proud to have completed another project with our friends at Continental Properties," said Jim Kurtzman, McShane senior vice president. "We look forward to working with them again on this landmark project in the Phoenix area and can't wait to see the final outcome."
The 14 hectare garden-style community will include 276 residential units in 10 two- and three-story buildings. The timber frame buildings will have a stucco and brick facade. Inside, tenants enjoy high quality finishes in every unit, including granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. Tenants also have access to a clubhouse with a state-of-the-art fitness center and outdoor pool, as well as 490 parking spaces.
Continental Properties owns and operates over 60 Springs communities across the country. The company believes its approach to multi-family community development represents a long-term investment for both the company and the local area. The natural exterior siding and native plants used in their communities, combined with their innovative interior planning, show residents practicality, privacy and security.
Springs at Cooley Station has an early completion date of 2022. The architect of the record is Phillips Partnership.
