Fires Take Aim at Napa Valley Once Again

CALISTOGA, CA – Wine country wildfire has burned more than 36,000 acres, destroyed 113 buildings, and forced the evacuation of tens of thousands of people in Napa and Sonoma counties. The glass fire lit near Calistoga on Sunday at 3:50 a.m. and was fanned by dry gusts of wind. The subsequent Shady and Boysen fires merged with it, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Prevention, or Cal Fire.
