Gilbane Development Company Completes Over 3,000-Beds of New Student Housing Prior to the Start of the Fall 2020 Semester

PROVIDENCE, RI – Gilbane Development Company has completed development of four new student housing projects and provided over 3,000 beds for students at Towson University, Arizona State University, Oregon State University, and Kennesaw State University prior to the start of the fall semester. The Gilbane Development Company's new and existing student housing portfolio was 97% occupied as of August 2020.

In addition, Gilbane Development was selected as the trusted developer for more than 2,500 beds on campus and secured over $ 300 million in funding for new student housing developments in 2019 and 2020.

The completed student housing estates include:

Altus – Towson, MD, where Gilbane Development is part of Towson Row, a $ 350 million mixed-use development with over SF1 million of retail, hotel, residential and residential buildings, 720 bed student housing just 0, Made available office space in Towson, MD 3 miles from Towson University campus.
