Nominate Now for Influencers in CRE Technology

According to a new report from Building Engines, 89% of property owners believe technology is shaping the commercial real estate industry and 84% of property owners believe technology can help the company meet all of its operational goals.

Although technological advances in commercial real estate have historically been slower compared to other industries, the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly spawned new, necessary innovations across the field.

Technological advances, which undeniably affect every aspect of commercial real estate, have proven critical to the industry in recent months due to the mandatory shift to remote working.

Industry professionals are taking the initiative to use big data, artificial intelligence and intelligent mobility to generate and implement improved processes, and show their technological know-how and their ability to adapt quickly.

To better help businesses manage processes and customers and consumers in providing accessibility and ensuring proper security protocols, these professionals are promoting their practices through digital leasing transactions, virtual home tours, communication applications, flexible payment options and in-unit amenities. Crowdfunding platforms, telehealth services, e-commerce fulfillment center tools and more.

The industry has also seen a significant increase in more detailed data and virtual replicas of physical spaces to help property managers better understand and monitor properties using sensors and traffic patterns. With accurate, timely insights, professionals and consumers can better navigate the space and operators can better understand building efficiency.

For GlobeSt. In the next series of influencers at the Real Estate Forum, we put the spotlight on professionals who have influenced the market through new and / or improved technology applications. For this series we are not only looking for the pioneers who have had an influence with their individual efforts, but also the teams and entire organizations that have become critical for the industry.
