East Orlando Garden Apartment Community Trades for $66M

CODA Apartments, a brand new 296-unit garden community in East Orlando, sold for $ 66 million. Catalyst and The Carlyle Group sold the property with 296 units to RK Properties.

The property is adjacent to Central Florida Research Park and the University of Central Florida, which together employ over 23,000 people. It is located on East Colonial Drive, a major east-west route in the region, and is less than a quarter mile from S.R. 408 east-west expressway.

Scott Ramey, Senior Managing Director of Newmark Knight Frank Multifamily, and Erik Bjornson and Vice Chairman Patrick Dufour represented the sellers on the transaction.

The 4-story residential complex with elevator was built in 2019 and has a fully integrated clubhouse and outdoor facilities such as a separate fitness center, an indoor dog spa, a pool sun terrace with outdoor kitchens and barbecue stations for large green eggs, as well as a fenced dog park and four courtyards .
