LAUREL, MD – Mission Rock Residential, a Denver-based, multi-family real estate management company, continues to expand its regional presence in the Northeast and announces a new management contract for The Views at Laurel Lakes Apartment Homes in Laurel, Maryland. Formerly called "The Point", the company has received an agreement from new owner Hamilton Zanze to manage the apartment community.
"The lifestyle offered at The Views at Laurel Lakes differs from the surrounding living options with the apartment's comfortable and updated interior and exterior amenities, including a unique two-story swimming pool. We love the residents' experience to improve all current and future residents, "said Patricia Hutchison, president of Mission Rock Residential.
The community has 308 apartment buildings and is conveniently located halfway between Baltimore and Washington. Residents have easy access to Interstate 95, the Laurel MARC suburban train station, and these major urban centers. The community offers notable amenities such as a two-story pool, outdoor BBQ areas, a 24-hour fitness center, and direct lake access. This approach is particularly noteworthy given the quiet, park-like setting of the property.
Each individual apartment building has a washer and dryer, stainless steel appliances, wood fireplaces and a private patio. All bathrooms and kitchens have new cabinets and work surfaces, as well as updated energy efficient light fixtures that have recently been renovated across the property.
Laurel is a mostly shared apartment and has a historic neighborhood on Main Street and a significant retail presence. In addition to providing easy access to Baltimore and Washington DC for job opportunities, Laurel is also home to several major employers. The Department of Defense is prominently represented in the Laurel region. The Fort Meade Army base, National Security Administration, and Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory are all nearby. Laurel Park, a thoroughbred horse racing track, is also just outside the city limits.
