If you're not a sneakerhead, you may have missed the news last week that New York-based design firm MSCHF partnered with entertainer Lil Nas X to create something called the Satan Shoe.

According to the website the shoes were sold on, the limited edition of 666 pairs of black Nike Air Max 97 sneakers include satanic details, including a bronze pentagram on the laces and a red embroidered reference to Luke 10:18. (He replied, “I saw Satan fall from heaven like lightning.)
