Retail properties saw a slight increase in conditions in the fourth quarter of 2020. This emerges from a new outlook from JLL on the sector, and some key markets in several key US regions are heading to the top.

JLL notes that the pandemic has produced winners and losers: "Major retailers continue to be vital to daily life and discretionary retailers struggle with closings and tight consumer budgets," the report said. "But there is another fork taking place – one of the place."
