Julie Park didn't always want to be a lawyer. She fell in love with organic chemistry while attending college at Harvard University, and after graduating from the California Institute of Technology, spent two years at Pfizer researching drugs to treat cancer.

But something was missing from her career as a chemist: dealing with people. That drove Park into law school, who graduated from Harvard Law School in 2008. She is now a partner in the Morrison & Foerster San Diego office, serving product manufacturers in litigation and regulatory proceedings.
