New, stronger COVID-19 strains are not just changing office return policies. The persistent virus is changing the role of the chief legal officer.
"To some extent, the general counsel must now also act as chief medical officer in interpreting the guidelines of various regulatory and advisory bodies, which is definitely beyond our normal mandate or training," said Don Riddick, Atlanta chief legal officer in Atlanta technology company Featurespace.
