BUCKEYE, AZ – Link Senior Development and MedCore Partners are involved in the development of Ativo of Sundance, a 202 senior citizen community within the Sundance Active Adult Masters plan in Buckeye, Arizona. The Sundance-planned community of 1,100 homes is fully developed and has an 18-hole public golf course, community center, and more than 20 different clubs that homeowners can join. The town of Buckeye was recently named the Fastest Growing Small City in the United States.
The residential campus for seniors will offer 103 independent living, 75 assisted living and 24 dormitories for memory maintenance. The community will be on 10 acres on the northwest corner of Yuma Road and Sundance Parkway, adjacent to the Sundance Adult Village HOA Community Center. Construction on the 211,000-square-foot, three-story project is expected to begin in late 2021, with an expected opening in the summer of 2023.

Ativo amenities include a grand entrance with a two-story dining room, private dining for special events, a billiards room, two lounges, a theater room, a chef's kitchen with a show bar, a cyber cafe, and world-class outdoor spaces including a resort-style swimming pool, Shuffleboard, bocce and pickleball courts, multi-hole mini golf, art studio, animal park, fitness center, and outdoor grill / fire pits.
Insight Senior Living will administer the community, including overseeing all programs and resident services. This is Insight's third senior housing project in Arizona. Ankrom Moison Architects designed the facility.
Link and MedCore are collaborating on two additional developments in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Tracy, California. The two firms previously worked together on the sale and acquisition of five senior citizen communities in Arizona and Utah in 2019.
