As lockdowns took effect last year and the lights went out in office buildings across the country, legal department leaders had to come up with ways to keep their teams connected, sane and productive while working remotely and dealing with a host of stressful issues in their professional and personal lives.
“First and foremost, we’ve learned the importance of staying connected with our teams. It’s hard enough—even in pre-pandemic times—for leaders to have a good feel for what is happening on the ground,” 3M Co. general counsel Ivan Fong said.
