Embrey Announces Closing of Land Acquisition for 306-Unit Keene at The District Apartment Community in Centennial, Colorado

CENTENNIAL, CO – Embrey has completed land purchase for Keene at The District, an apartment building community project of 306 units, its second planned project in the highly sought-after development that offers mountain views, walkable neighborhoods and easy access to jobs, shopping and entertainment.

The four-story project is a multi-family wrap style that will help promote a pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use community within the district. Embrey has purchased its property from Brue-Baukol Capital Partners, a Denver-based company developing The District.

"When you look at the district's strong community characteristics and support for the lifestyle today's residents are seeking, we are excited to be launching our second project there," said Jimmy McCloskey, Embrey's executive vice president of development. "Embry's focus on luxury amenities and premium living fits in perfectly with The District concept."

The location is adjacent to the RTD Dry Creek light rail station and is close to I-25, making it easy to get to the Denver subway area.

The first units and the clubhouse are expected to be available in the first quarter of 2024 and the project will be completed later this year.

Amenities include a clubhouse with games room and a business center with micro offices and a conference room. Outdoor BBQ areas, multiple fireplaces, and a leafy courtyard compliment a resort-style pool. The property will have an aqua lounge, a state-of-the-art gym with on-demand technology and a dog spa. A parcel room, a lift and a structured parking garage are available to residents.

The interior will have 9 to 14 foot ceilings depending on the unit chosen. High-end kitchens will feature quartz worktops, counter-depth side-by-side fridges, custom-made cabinets with designer handles, stainless steel appliances, vanity lighting and improved vanity sinks. The bathrooms have upgraded undermount sinks, bathtubs and walk-in showers in selected units. There are hardwood floors and plush carpets everywhere, linen cupboards, and walk-in closets with built-in shelves and designer makeup mirrors.
