The Justice Department's case against Walmart has been put on hold pending the settlement of two US Supreme Court cases in which pharmacists allege they are acting in good faith to defend themselves against allegations of illicit drug distribution.
U.S. District Judge Colm F. Connolly issued an order Friday afternoon to stay the case for up to 14 days after the settlement of cases filed by Xiulu Ruan and Shakeel Kahn, which the Supreme Court agreed to hear earlier this month.
