A federal judge has denied Costco Wholesale Corp.’s motion for summary judgment in a slip-and-fall case Friday, finding a reasonable juror could conclude that there was rainwater in the front entrance area long enough for the store to discover and dry it.
The court also rejected Costco’s argument that expert testimony was needed to establish whether the wet floor posed a danger.
