A Florida-based home appliance producer and its parent company are facing a number of suits across various courts over alleged defects in its Crock-Pot multi-cooker.
Plaintiffs in the suits claim that defects in the lid of Sunbeam Products Inc.’s pressure cooker caused the machine to erupt and burn them with its heated contents.
